Florida Sikhs Gather to Discuss Ways to Increase Awareness

On March 1, 2004 The Tampa Tribune reported, "On Sunday, more than 100 Sikhs attending services at Sikh Gurdwara on Morris Bridge Road talked about ways to educate people about their religion, Sikhism, and their culture. About half a dozen members of The University of Florida Students in Free Enterprise led the discussion and offered ways to increase awareness. Sikhism, with about 20 million followers, is the fifth largest religion in the world. Most Sikhs come from India."
