In 1992, Jim Cribb, along with others from the Comox Valley, travelled to New York City to join 30,000 Bahá’ís from around the world to mark 100 years since the death of Bahá’u’lláh, Founder of the Bahá’í Faith.

Already a Bahá’í for 20 years, Cribb discovered that the four-day Bahá’í World Congress marked a turning point in his life.

“I saw the greatest diversity of mankind, all celebrating teachings of Bahá’u’lláh—world unity, equality of women and men, elimination of prejudices—but I realized I hardly knew anything about His life,” says Cribb.

And so the seed was planted for The Promise of All Ages, a feature-length documentary about the life of Bahá’u’lláh.
