On July 20, 2005 the Camden Gazette reported, "Religious leaders have joined forces to support Camden's Muslim community after a spate of anti-Islamic attacks in the area.

Catholic priests and Buddhist monks joined Jewish rabbis and Muslim clerics in a show of unity at St Pancras Church in Upper Woburn Place on Tuesday.

The meeting was organised by the Camden Faith Community Partnership which is concerned about assaults on members of Camden's Muslim community since the London bombings two weeks ago.

There have been reports of veiled women being abused by gangs in the street and Muslim men being threatened."
