Construction begins today on the 6th Annual MultiFaith Council Habitat Build. But before the first spade of dirt was turned or a nail was hammered, volunteers from more than a dozen faith groups gathered in Sylvania to bless the project, share a meal, and build friendships.
The volunteer potluck and build blessing was held Wednesday night at the Hindu Temple, with more than 60 members of Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Baha'i, and other religious traditions joining together for the Maumee Valley Habitat for Humanity project.
