The Muslim Public Affairs Council commends the Department of Justice for cracking down on hate crimes against members of the Muslim community. Today the Justice Department announced that a third man pleaded guilty to a hate crime for anti-Muslim vandalism in Massachusetts.
Adam J. Bonito is the third co-conspirator to plead guilty to the bias-motivated crime during late 2004 and early 2005. Christopher D. Giaquinto pleaded guilty on October 10, 2008, to the same criminal charge and a third co-conspirator pleaded guilty earlier in the month to a juvenile delinquency charge arising out of the same bias-motivated acts of vandalism.
