Friday, October 6th, marks the second anniversary of the passing of Siri Singh Sahib Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji.

To commemorate the anniversary of his death, communities around the world will be gathering to meditate, pray and eat together on October 6th. The Siri Singh Sahib taught the importance of creating peace within the heart and within the family as a foundation for peace within the world. We invite you to join us on this day – to remember the example he set by fearlessly sharing the Guru’s word with people from different faiths, cultures, languages and backgrounds. And to pray that the knowledge of our fundamental oneness in Spirit – taught by the Gurus – will penetrate every home and every heart.

Born on August 26, 1929, the Siri Singh Sahib, also known as Yogi Bhajan, transformed the Sikh world by bringing the message of the Sikh Gurus to every continent on the globe.

With humor, affection, compassion and strength, the Siri Singh Sahib traveled to Europe, Asia, Russia, South America, Canada, and Africa. He taught the sacred science of Kundalini Yoga, trained students and teachers in the yogic tradition; and through his outreach, brought the message of the Sikhs Gurus to hundreds of thousands of people worldwide.

Because of this missionary work, thousands of people from almost every country in the world have taken Amrit and adopted the Rehit Maryada of Guru Gobind Singh.
