On March 22, 2004 The Dallas Morning News reported, "Dispelling misconceptions can be a large task. But Lin Rosenquist wasn't intimidated when she set out to banish one recently. 'There was so much hoopla surrounding The Passion of the Christ ,' Ms. Rosenquist said of the Mel Gibson movie. 'I wanted to prove the misconception wrong by bringing different faiths together for a common good.' In response to concerns that came from the movie's release, Plano's Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, the Islamic Association of Collin County Mosque and Adat Chaverim came together on Sunday to host a blood drive. The event was held at Adat Chaverim on Independence Parkway. Approximately 50 people turned out for the blood drive, some waiting nearly an hour to donate, including Stephanie Esser. 'This is such a good thing,' Ms. Esser said while waiting in line. ''Im a Christian, and this is exactly what needs to be done to bring us all together.' The congregations have held administrative luncheons together, but the blood drive was the first event put on by the three congregations in trying to reach people at the social level."
