On December 7, 2000, The Columbus Dispatch published an article entitled "Plan To Limit Music Strikes A Sour Note." Columbus public schools debate the issue of the performance of religious music. It was sparked in August, when the ACLU of Ohio and the Columbus Jewish Federation objected to choral performances at Columbus high school graduations that featured exclusively Christian songs.
