HAMILTON (AM900 CHML) - Diversity week is underway, with the official launch of the Hamilton Center For Civic Inclusion.
It's an organization that was born out of the burning of a Hindu Temple in the days after 9-11, and it's goal is to make Hamilton "a city where we practice equity and embrace diversity".
Hamilton Health Sciences President and CEO Murray Martin says that needs to include access for newcomers to education and employment, since they will be the health-care workers of the future.
