The state's four gubernatorial candidates faced tough questioning tonight on a range of issues -- including their commitment to helping Haitian refugees, combating youth violence, and cracking down on banks violating usury laws -- during a forum organized by an interfaith group.

Representatives of the Greater Boston Interfaith Organization (GBIO), a group of Jewish, Christian, and Muslim leaders with a stated mission of fighting social ills including economic inequality, pressed the candidates on several hot button issues at the meeting held at Temple Israel of Boston.
