On July 21, 2005 The Tampa Tribune reported, "American Muslims have produced a powerful 30-second video that plainly condemns terrorist attacks. In some parts of the country, it is being run as a public service announcement on TV. The message, which confirms Islam's intolerance for violence, will be especially useful if it reaches the defiant young radicals who think a suicide attack would make them religious martyrs... Parvez Ahmed, chairman of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, producer of the video, says there is no room for argument: 'Any effort by terrorists to hide their criminal activities under the mask of religious piety is being categorically and unequivocally rejected by mainstream Muslims.'"
