When Reginald Nicholson first realized the severity of his cancer, he considered meditation as a way to cope with his illness.

Looking for help, he called a number of sources, including monks in Australia. And then Nicholson heard about the Zab Sang Institute, a place offering Buddhist teachings in his own backyard of Coconut Grove.

Nicholson began visiting the center for meditation and breathing lessons from Master Chufei Tsai, who runs the institute and has taught Mahayana Buddhism for 23 years.
