On October 29, 2004 Ambler Gazette reported on the coming together of a Baptist and Jewish congregation to share a common place of worship. "The two religious institutions will be operating out of the same facility, the current Congregation Beth Or building, until the synagogue moves to its new location. And since groundbreaking on the new facility won't take place for yet another month, the two will be occupying a shared space for at least a year, or until construction is complete... This Sunday ... Bethlehem Baptist Church will hold a special service at Congregation Beth Or commemorating the official move. The service is open to members of the community and special guests will include area politicians, members of local government and visiting religious figures. Quann said the move is good for the church because it's currently looking to expand beyond its 1,200 members. Whereas the sanctuary in the old church building could house 260 people, Beth Or's sanctuary can accommodate around 1,000 people."
