An ad campaign publicizing atheist views is again appearing on the sides of Des Moines buses, letting nonbelievers know they are not alone during the holiday season.
Ads by the group Iowa Atheists and Freethinkers sparked a free-speech debate in Des Moines last summer and prompted changes in advertising policy at the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority.
The latest ads, which appeared on Monday, read “Being good for goodness sake” against a blue background with snowflakes.
