Arizona Religious Leaders to Aid Parliament of the World's Religions

On October 11, 2003 The Arizona Republic reported that "five religious leaders from the Valley will take part in a planning meeting next week for the Parliament of the World's Religions. The group from the Arizona Interfaith Movement, led by Paul Eppinger, is one of the largest invited to the planning, which will be held in Manresa, Spain." The Parliament of World Religions is held every five years, with this year's event scheduled to take place in Barcelona. The Arizona team includes leaders from the Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, and Christian communities. The Parliament will discuss the role of religious organizations in creating and maintaining international peace and justice.
