Lehigh Valley Muslims celebrated Ramadan with the community during a major Interfaith Iftar Dinner in Allentown on Sunday evening.

Every year during Ramadan, the Lehigh Dialogue Center organizes an Interfaith Dinner to celebrate diversity and recognize the richness in the community. People from all faiths gather to encourage tolerance.

This year's dinner was held at the Holiday Inn in Allentown and included hundreds of attendees who came to enjoy the free dinner and learn more about Islamic holy month.

"Ramadan is a time of giving and sharing," said Abdullah Bozkurt, LDC President. "It is a great time to promote understanding and dialogue with our neighbors as well as a reminder for the suffering of the poor and needy in our Community."
