Sikhs in Cardiff are appealing to be allowed to use an stretch of fresh flowing water where the ashes of their loved ones can be scattered.

As part of the Sikh tradition, funerals are completed with scattering the ashes on stretches of fresh flowing water while prayers are said.

But a request to have a designated stretch of the River Taff for such ceremonies was recently refused.

Cardiff Council and religious leaders are looking for an alternative area.
