Animals Seized in Santeria Sacrifice in San Francisco

On May 26, 2004 The San Francisco Examiner reported, "The Peninsula Humane Society, acting on a tip of animal stench and noise coming from an alley behind 870 Grand St., on Tuesday seized six pygmy goats, a pot-bellied pig, five rabbits and some 75 to 100 chickens, ducks and pigeons being kept in filthy conditions to be used for ritual sacrifice by a Santeria high priest."
