On June 3, 2005 The Gazette reported, "the Air Force should look at religious intolerance throughout the entire branch, not just at the Air Force Academy, a national Jewish leader said Thursday. 'I believe the Air Force will need to examine what impact this kind of behavior has beyond the walls of the academy into Air Force bases,' Abe Foxman, national director of the Anti-Defamation League, said in an interview. 'There have been graduates before who have experienced this. What mandate do they have? What authority have they been given with a spiritual responsibility beyond' the academy? Foxman, in Denver this week for the league’s national executive committee meeting, also said members of an Air Force task force reviewing allegations of religious bias at the academy told him they have documented problems there and are assessing their 'depth, intensity and seriousness.' The task force, announced May 3 and due to issue a report soon, will outline findings and propose solutions, Foxman said. He declined to disclose details."
