After a year of delays, the Mississippi Muslim Association was finally approved to break ground on a mosque off of Highway 51 in Madison, MS. The five acre piece of land was purchased in 2010 and the 10,000 square foot building was completed and inaugurated in 2012 with a capacity for 900 people. This facility also includes Muslim Sunday School for children.
