Mission and Membership Greater Lowell Interfaith Leadership Alliance (GLILA) is comprised of leaders from diverse faith groups within Greater Lowell. The Alliance, composed of clergy and senior lay people, meets monthly to discuss a variety of community issues, and to offer mutual support. The group's unity is based on common principles calling us to serve God and to work for the common good of all people. The principle aim is to be a united force for spiritual and moral leadership within the Greater Lowell community. The members covenant to support one another in this aim. The organization comprises about 120 faith communities, including Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Protestants of every stripe, Jewish, Muslim, Christian Science, and Baha’i. Approximately 25-30 clergy and lay leaders attend each meeting. Activities and Schedule Meetings: first Thursday of the month, 8-9:30 A.M.
