Host Jean Rogers will interview filmmaker and media expert, Tiffany Shlain, author of the new book 24/6: The Power of Unplugging One Day a Week; writer and speaker Andy Crouch, author of The Tech-Wise Family; and Amin Aaser, founder and director of Noor Kids. Bringing Jewish, Christian, and Muslim perspectives, presenters will touch on these universal topics and more: – How is screen time affecting families as they strive to grow in wisdom and courage? – What can we learn from a technology Shabbat or Sabbath? – How can houses of worship help families resist the notion that kids need screen time? – How do easily accessible “answers” on the internet impact one’s journey for meaning in life? – How can positive role models counter the influence of social media and YouTube influencers? – How can faith leaders help guide families in their use of screens?
