We're looking forward to seeing you there!
Pluralism Project Summary:The CAIR Massachusetts Government Affairs Director, Nazia Ashraful, led a training for a group of twenty-five Muslims on how to build relationships with and contact their local officials. The training required attendees to work in pairs to identify their elected officials, from the executive branch to state representation, all the way down to their local school board members. Many participants were shocked to learn that they had such direct representation, and that it is within their power to communicate with their elected officials. The event also provided a forum for participants to voice their general anxieties about President Trump and the current political environment.
