Dzogchen Shen Pan Choling grew out of the Boise Dharma Center, which has been in Boise, Idaho since around 1980. In August 2004, Dzogchen Shen Pan Choling formed with 20 members. The group still is active with the other Buddhist groups in Boise, however they chose to focus specifically on the dharma teachings of traditional Tibetan Buddhism. They study under the guidance of Dzogchen Khenpo Choga Rinpoche.

The group is comprised almost entirely of Caucasians, however about 5% of the group are of other ethnicities. Everyone speaks English, and range in age from 9 to 70.

Activities and Schedule

The group meets regularly for prayers and meditation and the group organizes/takes part in retreats and workshops for the Buddhists in the region. See the website for information on meeting times.
