Opportunity Insights is an initiative led by Professors Raj Chetty, Nathaniel Hendren, and John Friedman. The goal of Opportunity Insights is to identify barriers to economic opportunity and develop scalable solutions that will empower people throughout the United States to rise out of poverty and achieve better life outcomes.
They do this using "big data" to analyze how to improve the upward mobility and use their research to affect changes in policy.
