Are you and your friends looking for some healthy competition? Want to host a game night? The Game Collection is available for you to borrow video, board, and lawn games for first-year student events and personal use. Our current stock is listed below. If you do not see your favorite game, email us with your suggestion.

To check out a game, simply come to the First-Year Experience Office during office hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-3pm. You can also fill out a board game or lawn game sign-out form ahead of time and bring it with you, although games are first-come, first-served. Note that board and lawn games may be checked out for three days, while XBOX games may be borrowed for seven days. Lost or damaged games will result in a charge to your term bill. XBOX consoles are located in the common rooms of Straus, Pennypacker, and Grays.

Whether you're craving sweets and want to bake or would like to prepare a full meal, the First-Year Experience Office maintains a collection of kitchen equipment for first-year student use . Students may borrow equipment, free of charge, for three days at a time. Lost or damaged items will result in a charge to your term bill. View the dorm amenities map to see which first-year dorms have kitchens.

To check out kitchen equipment, simply come to the First-Year Experience Office. You can also fill out a kitchen equipment sign-out form ahead of time and bring it with you, although equipment is first-come, first-served.

The FYE partners with Educational Support Services (ESS) to offer special equipment for social gatherings.

To reserve a projector, email us a few business days in advance of your desired pick-up date with the following information:

  • Name, Email, Cell
  • Equipment pickup date and time
  • Equipment return date and time
  • Where the equipment will be used and stored when not in use

You will receive a confirmation email, and pickup and dropoff will be Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, at Educational Support Services (ESS) located in the Science Center B-02. Screens and speakers can be requested as well. Note: these projectors are for indoor use.
