Brazil Office Fellowship
The Brazil Office Fellowship provides a professional exchange experience through a position with Harvard University’s Office in São Paulo. Duration of the Fellowship can range between six months and one year.
Established in 2006, the Brazil Office in São Paulo works in tandem with the Brazil Studies Program in Cambridge to expand research, teaching and educational opportunities for Harvard faculty and students across the University. Most programmatic activities are collaborative in nature, seeking to connect Harvard experts and learners with counterparts in Brazil. Ongoing programs and initiatives focus on inequality, democracy, public health, environment, cities, child development, education, mentoring and language acquisition.

Clémence Jouët-Pastré Brazil Travel Fellowship
Inspired by the memory of Clémence Jouët-Pastré, who as Senior Preceptor in Romance Languages and Literatures opened the doors for hundreds of Harvard students to study and experience Brazil, the fellowship award can be utilized to support research, language study, volunteer work and/or independent projects spanning any field or topic.

Jorge Paulo Lemann Fellowships for Brazilian Students
The Jorge Paulo Lemann Fellowships support graduate students who are residents and citizens of Brazil who are committed to becoming leaders in their field and making a difference in Brazil in a career dedicated to creating social impact in the country. Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll in full-time degree programs at one of Harvard's graduate and professional schools, with a preference for, but not limited to, the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, the Harvard Graduate School of Education, or the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. The fellowships are made possible by the generosity of Jorge Paulo Lemann.

JORGE PAULO LEMANN FELLOWSHIPS FOR RESEARCH IN BRAZIL
The Jorge Paulo Lemann Fellowships support research for current Harvard doctoral and PhD candidates whose work focuses on Brazil. The fellowships are made possible by the generosity of Jorge Paulo Lemann. Research fellowships are awarded for one semester or an academic year. Applicants do not have to be Brazilian citizens.

Brazil-based Postdoctoral Research Fellows
As a response to the Covid-19 pandemic, when international travel and exchange was stalled but the need for research collaboration continued, the DRCLAS Brazil Office and Brazil Studies Program developed a Postdoctoral Research Fellow model in which Harvard faculty advisors work virtually with Postdocs based in Brazil. The Harvard faculty members and Postdocs typically conduct research in collaboration with local research teams, utilizing data, material or specimens collected directly from Brazil.
