Jessica earned a BA in English and American Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 2000 to 2005, she was the Graduate Program Coordinator for the Sociology Department at the University of Minneapolis-Twin Cities. Before joining the Department in August 2008, she assisted the Director of the MPP Program at Harvard Kennedy School, helped LLM students with financial aid matters at Harvard Law School, publicized events at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, and coordinated admissions for the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology Program at Harvard Medical School.
